Choose AI Tools with a Task Checklist
A useful tool shortlist starts with a job, not a popularity chart. This guide is a selection method, not a product ranking or a claim that every listed tool has been tested.

Understand when a reusable Agent Skill is worth building, what belongs in SKILL.md, and when a normal prompt is enough.
An ordinary prompt tells a model what to do in the current conversation. An Agent Skill packages a repeatable way of working so an Agent can recognize the task, load the right guidance, use the right tools, and verify the result.
A prompt is usually enough when the task is one-off, the context is already in the conversation, and failure is cheap. A Skill becomes useful when the same job returns, quality depends on a specific sequence, or supporting scripts and references should be loaded only when needed.
Large examples, reference tables, templates, and scripts should live in supporting files. This keeps the default context small and lets the Agent load detail only when the task requires it.
Do not create a Skill for a personal wording preference, an untested workflow, or a task that changes every time. Validate the process manually first.
Start with a prompt. When you can name the trigger, repeat the workflow, and test the output, promote it to a Skill.

Combine research, product-page, content, and measurement Skills without building an over-automated system.

Generating a page is only part of building a website. Visitors also need accurate content, working links and recoverable data. This checklist is for a first brochure site or a small business website.
